An energy performance certificate (EPC) is a legal document which is needed whenever a property is built, sold or rented.
The EPC contains information about the property's energy use and typical energy costs, it also contains recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money.
It gives the property a rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.
Stringfellows use an accredited assessor to assess the property and then the certificate can be accessed online.
Stringfellows offer independent mortgage and financial advice from our experienced and friendly mortgage brokers to try and find you the perfect mortgage. So, whether you are buying your first home, moving home, investing or re-mortgaging give us a call for free and reliable advice.
All rented properties in the UK need to have a Gas Certification by law.
Stringfellows use an accredited gas safety engineer to carry out this work.
We have a range of local solicitors that we have tried and tested and carefully selected to recommend to our customers to help the sale reach completion as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
